		<description>Little bit of writer's block or are you trying to find your academic niche?  I would imagine that your work is a pretty hot topic in literature.  (Have you experienced the "pleasure" of a referee report yet?)  

I'd say your feelings are pretty much par for the course.  I often feel the same about my work - lots of time and effort go into it but it seems like nobody is listening even though my hypothetical audience is quite large.  And if you feel that way about publishing, sympathize with me when I say I've had people fall asleep during my talks...bah.
