I often feel the same about my work - lots of time and effort go into it but it seems like nobody is listening even though my hypothetical audience is quite large. And if you feel that way about publishing, sympathize with me when I say I've had people fall asleep during my talks...bah. Don't feel too bad about the blog - you've got me, lucky you!
